It’s just about my thoughts on what’s happening in the world, originally more focused on my views about Africa as a Brit working in the many countries of the continent but latterly as I’ve retired and spending more time in the UK I find myself writing more about wherever I happen to be.
I’ve worked in many countries, thirty one at the last count, in my view Africa represents today’s greatest opportunity not only for the multi-nationals but also for Africa itself!
My posts tend to be about my thoughts on what’s happening wherever I am. My in-depth expertise is in the connectivity space but more recently I’ve expanded my skillsets in property, commercial, web development and tax management.
My posts tend to be my own view on the industries I work in, current affairs, and often anecdotes that seem to bring it all together.

More recently ChatGPT has helped me contextualise my thoughts into better prose, I’m amazed by it’s capability to be almost human in it’s responses.
